Jim Smith Contracting is a safe place to work and is reflected by our track record and safety awards. We hold yearly safety classes as refreshers for returning employees and a comprehensive training class for new hires. Our safety personnel attend safety seminars and classes throughout the region to stay current with all regulations and standards throughout the industry.
Jim Smith Contracting employees take their winter training with them throughout the summer and practice 'safety first' on every project. Employees are also attend toolbox safety meetings weekly.
Jim Smith Contracting has contracted a local safety consulting firm to assist us with all aspects of construction safety. With the help of this firm our worksites are safer than ever before.
